EDMA 6000 K-5 Mathematics Endorsement Capstone Portfolio (0-0-0) 
Corequisites: May be taken concurrently with the 3rd endorsement course. A satisfactory grade in this course indicates the completion of the exit portfolio, which will include evidence of observations by supervisors, student work samples with analysis of student work, and self-reflection.

EDMA 6235 Applications in Arithmetic and Algebra for K-5 Teachers (4-1-4) 
An in-depth exploration of number systems (whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percents) and their relationships, operations and standard computational algorithms, and generalizations to algebra. Problem-solving using multiple strategies and appropriate technology. Includes methods, principles, and strategies for teaching number concepts and algebra in grades K-5.

EDMA 6236 Applications in Geometry and Measurement for K-5 Teachers (4-1-4) 
An in-depth exploration of geometry and measurement topics appropriate for grades K-5. Topics include definitions and theorems relevant to elementary school teaching, elementary constructions, perimeter, area and volume. Problem solving using a variety of tools, including appropriate technology. Includes methods, principles, and strategies for teaching geometry and measurement in grades K-5.
