Advocacy includes a broad range of activities which attempt to influence a specific policy, legislative, regulatory or implementation outcome. Practitioners of public administration can play critical roles in the advocacy process as it pertains to justice systems via assessing social problems and active policy participation.

This course details various managerial approaches and concepts as it pertains to the justice system. It combines theory and application to explore the problems and practices of administrators operating in the justice system.
