Transfer Credit (Graduate)
At least one third of the credit hours required for a graduate degree or certificate must be earned through instruction offered by Columbus State University. Individual programs may require a higher amount of credit to be earned at CSU. The remaining credit hours required in a program may be transferred with the approval of the department chair provided that the credit was earned not more than seven years prior to the date of completion of the degree. For the Ed.D. in Curriculum and Leadership, credit hours earned must not be more than ten years prior to the date of completion of the degree. Ed.D. students are required to complete 48 hours in residence, to include 15 hours of research and 9 hours toward the dissertation.
Grades of "C" or below will not be accepted as transfer credit.
