Notice of Non-Discrimination under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, 20 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.

Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities operated by recipients of Federal financial assistance. As a recipient of federal assistance funds, Columbus State University is required to comply with Title IX. As such, the institution does not discriminate on the basis of sex in the education programs and activities it operates including admission and employment. Prohibited sex discrimination includes sexual harassment and sexual violence such as sexual assault, stalking, and domestic and dating violence.
